DESCRIPTION
The Department of Cochabamba is located in the heart of Bolivia; it
is surrounded by six departments, sharing their different climates,
cultures, ecological stages and natural resources.
CLIMATE
Cold in the eternally snowy Mountain regions, temperate in the valleys
on the southern slopes of the mountain range; cold to temperate in the
region of the northern mountain slopes; temperate to warm in the
Yungas to the north; warm to the north; and warm and dry to the
southeast. The southeastern zone has the least rainfall in the
department.
