DESCRIPTION
The Department of La Paz is in the western region of the country, on
the border with the Republics of Peru and Chile. It is an
interesting sample of Bolivia’s geographical diversity and the
cradle of ancestral cultures and pre-Incan mystic. In the northern
region, from the spurs of the Royal Mountain Range, it is a
transition of the Amazon region crossed by several rivers with woods
and plains where Nature shows her immensity and richness.
CLIMATE
High highlands (city of La Paz), fluctuating between 5ºC and 17ºC. The
rainy season is from December to March. The rest of the year is
usually dry, without much rainfall.
